What is the GFWC Blue Ridge District?

We are proud members of the Greater Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), one of the world's largest women's volunteer organizations.

The District is comprised of 6 General Clubs and 1 Junior Club located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia.  

We are also 1 of 8 districts within GFWC Virginia. 

We support our community with volunteer programs in 3 signature programs and 5 community service programs

• Arts & Culture
• Civic Engagement & Outreach
• Education & Libraries
• Environment 
• Health & Wellness

Each 2-year administration focuses on a theme or broad area to collectively impact our communities.

District clubs participate in the GFWC National Day of Service each year in addition to their own programs and volunteering in service to their community.
